Website Design
Brief
ArchDaily is one of the largest databases used by architectural designers. Beyond its array of architectural projects, it also includes postings for design competitions, products, and more. The task was to redesign the website and organize the crowded content in a way that allows for better navigation and allows the design content to shine - becoming a better resource to architects and designers.
Project Summary
The Approach
All pages were redesigned to let the design content sing clearly. Information on the subject is better digestible, as its no longer in competition with any other information that is not applicable to the particular project. This not only allows for an architectural project to shine on its own, but also allows designer to quickly learn about projects around the world.
The Programming
The redesign of the home page has the categories presented in groupings—with each grouping presented one at a time. As one scrolls down, the header changes from topic-to-topic, so the reader always knows which particular category they are viewing.
